About the photographers

Orsolya and Erlend Haarberg are professional nature photographers who have been a team since 2005.

They work primarily in the Nordic countries, and have published three books about this region in the past seven years – one about Lapland, in 2008, and two about Iceland, in 2011 and 2012.

Their images have been recognised in famous international nature photography competitions, including Wildlife Photographer of the Year, GDT Wildlife Photographer of the Year, Nature’s Best Photography awards and the Golden Turtle photography awards.

Erlend has been awarded Norwegian Nature Photographer of the Year six times, while Orsolya won Hungarian Nature Photographer of the year in 2009 and 2011. Their images have been published in BBC Wildlife, National Geographic and Terre Sauvage.
