Ki is nice.

Yeah, I quite like ki. It's simple and it really means the center of all energy and lifeforce in a way. From which strength flows. Pronounced 'kee' but could be pronounced different, as the word is still the same. Got a couple of other ideas, but think Ki and Satori are favourites. Like Elpis, as it means 'hope' but shame it's too close to elvis.

One interpretation of the meaning of ''ki":
"So in the Japanese meaning Ki is something which is unclear, something that cannot be defined. In daily life it means something like feeling , sentiment or emotions or ideas which are not yet clear but will become clear later. Or some motivation, etc, etc. That is why to understand Ki is very important in the sense that it is a process of understanding one's own life and understanding ourselves."

Is it Ki as in eye or Ki as in ee, sound wise, do you know? I like it either way!

It's an 'ee' sound really, but would think you could get away with pronouncing it 'kai'. The Japanese word is said as 'kee' though.

ok, couple more ideas. Might be bit long though.
Izanagi. pronounced iz-a-na-gee.
He and his sister were said to have created the Islands of Japan. Stood upon the 'heavenly floating bridge' or 'rainbow' and lowere a jewelled spear into the primeval substance below. They created the world, but as his sister gave birth to fire she was scorched and became ill. She then 'retired from existence' as the story puts it. Her brother, Izanagi, was so stricken with grief over her loss that he descended to 'the land of night' or underworld, to find her and bring her back. He called for her, but she refused to be seen. He pleaded for her to return to him, but she could not as she had eaten fruit of the Yami which then anchored her to death, and she could never leave. Her brother tried to search for her, but she sent three spirits to scare him away and send him back home. He even attacked these, so his sister came herself to chase him. He closed off the door to the underworld with a huge boulder and stood facing her. She said she would take his country men, and he argued he would create more. This introduced mortality to the world.
So, their union created the natural world, their separation brought mortality to it.
Izanagi left her at this point and a tear from his left eye created 'amaterasu' the sun godess, the moon god and the storm god.

Right, well, it has a Chinese legend which is much more than the tv show.
His name was Sun Hou Tzu. born when a magical stone split in half. He had a supreme intellect and magic powers. Appointed by an emperor aware of his aspirations, to be 'celestial stable keeper' an honourary post. when one day two messengers tried to bring him to the underworld he became furious, as he was immortal and could not die. He was so furious he stormed his way there, overcoming many obstacles on the way. When he reached the registrar of the underworld he wrenched away his book of the dead and erased his name from it, as well as those names of all the monkeys he ruled, thereby saving his whole species from the underworld. After causing havoc and eventually being subdued by the buddha, he settled and accepted the offer pf accompanying a young monk on a journey tp sacquire the sacred scriptures.

There is also Hyperion. The Greek titan of light. Father of the sun, moon and dawn. God of watchfulness, wisdom and light.
