Hedgehogs in Distress (Brixham) - 20th March 2013

This is Phillip as the lady who found him named him, just out of hibernation on the 16th. He looks ok, a bit light but he is the source of the latest lungworm pictures on this page.

I was hoping to return him to her this weekend as she has a house and feeder ready for him, but he is now being treated for worms and will be here until at least the 2nd April.

Pam West, guardian angel of hedgehogs struck again today when she pulled yet another hedgehog from the swimming pool!

Fortunately it was not in there for very long and it was swimming around when it was found.
I have it in care at the moment as I think it's an expectant mum and I'm expecting the patter of tiny feet any day now!

Took one to Virginia last year that had fallen in the canal - she was fished out by a barge boat owner x

Glad they have been found .. still none in my garden .. usualy see droppings where i leave their dishes .x
