Webcam

Just wondered if anyone has successfully put a camera in their viv. I have been looking at the birdbox cameras for a while now but they all seem to be for either PC or TV but not for Mac or iPad.

I am hoping to put one in with the new cameras we are fetching in shortly x

Hiya we had one last year filming Felix over night but he was in a zoo zone large cage . When we put it in the viv the general heat of the camera affected the thermostat and the heat mat did nt come on . So just check you don't have the same problem .

you wouldnt expect that horsy...would be interesting what they get up to.

I want to do it also in a couple of my vivs .. Ed sadly hasn't got round to it yet will be nagging him this summer I think x

Got some good footage of Felix in his massive zoo zone . Got in one evening when we first got jasper and checked on them , jaspers heat mat was cold and so was he . Had him down my top for ages to get him warm . Was scary .

Best way of warming them up - straight down your top - bet Andy wishes he was a hedgehog!

We used to use Maplin a lot for that sort of thing back when i was going on haunted house vigils. Think they still might do little security type cameras.

Woo hoo, hubby bought me one for my birthday, I set it up first thing this morning, was easy to set up and works great with the Mac now can't wait until night time
