As i am sure you are all aware everything i do to save Hedgehogs is completely voluntary and self funded.. The cost of hand rearing Baby Hoglets is high. 1 tin of specialised milk replacer costs £55 and this would last for only 2 weeks feeding 7 Hoglets... during the summer months i can hand rear as many as 50 Hoglets..... if anyone would like to donate to help feed these babies please visit my website[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] every penny is very much appreciated thank you ..

Two More Hoggies arrived at the Rescue last evening ... 1 small female very dehydrated found out in daylight in the middle of a large play park surrounded by Magpies ... She has been given rehydrate fluids and is on a heat pad.. she has now started eating so looking OK.. The other is a average sized male with an injured back leg very swollen with fly eggs on it... treated and antibiotics started.. He is eating and drinking but is being kept in the ICU for now. As the weather is nice today i am expecting more calls !!

This Hoglet enjoying some foraging about in the lawn.. It is good for them to try and find natural food ready for when they are released back to the wild..

Latest arrivals called out to a garden last night.. Mum had been a regular visitor to this garden and they knew she had a nest with babies in.. Sadly Mum was killed two days ago on the road.. Two babies appeared on the lawn which are pictured below in the ICU but i am positive i will be getting another call later usually end up with around 4 or 5 so hopefully the others appear shortly.. They are approx 4 weeks old
