Collected these two little ones from Crawley last night one died on the way back and the other shortly afterwards, very cold and dehydrated found all alone in a garden, not sure how long as the finder had put them back under the bush hoping mum would find them, and left them until 9.30 when the grand daughter said she couldnt go to sleep knowing they were out there on there own without a mum!

Another hedgehog in today, this one found walking in circles in a garden. On close inspection, he has a very gunky eye and a tilted head. Also a bit underweight but has eaten very well this evening

Big thank you to Folly for taking the birds, and louise for doing all the running around. Two families of hogs, mum with 5 babies, and then a nother family of 5 babies all weighing 90-100g, a hog with maggots crawling out of its mouth and ears- PTS, another found circling in a garden and one found out in the day with a stump for a leg and ? eye injury. All not treated fed and put to bed

Another adult hog in today not really clear about the history son accidentally kicked it in the road. It arrived covered in blood but when we gave it a puff of gas and had a good look the only wounds we could find we're grazes to all feet. Has pu'd and poo'd no sign of blood. So will just keep close eye and see

Two hogs in the other day are both eating well, another in yesterday attacked by Jack russell checked by vet no obvious injuries think the blood belonged to the dog mostly! Hours old woody brought in by a cat, died on the way back home.
