so today my daughter wanted to put fresh food in vivs for me she said " pphhooaa mam his viv stinks but the other 2 dont"
I said "oh i know he does" haha so fuuny

i have now come to the conclusion its his food mix as his viv even smells after clean out roll on when heis on the same food as willow and theo

ita like a horrible cheese smell. never smelt any thing like it before but for my daughter to comment aswell i thought was strange. :/ any ideas?? ive put it down to his food do you think or not?

i would say food too, it will affect the smell of their poo if there are more flavorings and additives etc in it xx

Is he in a small plastic pigloo??

Im not sure if im honest maybe the change of food .. have you changed it since he has been home as it could have upset his stomach ~?

The smaller pigloos do not have as much air circulation as the large ones and it could simply be that he is sweating - I did notice that a couple of my small pigloos were holding condensation and have taken them out, when I mentioned it to either Melanie or Melody that it would be easy to heat a screwdriver and poke a few more holes in them to ensure an even air flow - did post an article on here about how important airflow in the nest box is x

No iam mixing his food at the minute Lou with what he came with and what I feed.
He did a plastic igloo so I've took it out and cleaned all viv out so we will see if that helps.x

It has eased off a little its not as hit you in the face anymore so hopefully he smell as much now
