9 days to go.......... 9 days to go.............. E I addio 9 days to go................. Oh yes      

I had a break through with Derek last night , he helped himself to some mince and sweetcorn            
I am sooooooo pleased , I have always left different foods out for him but he has never been out at night and eaten any , but last night ........... He must of dragged himself out of his bed and had a munch !!!!! I cut his feeds down to 2 a day last week so I think hunger must of got the better of him  xx

Way to go Jo - sometimes you have to be a little cruel to be king - whilst you are feeding him he has no need to leave his comfy bed - with him being in a smaller zoozone, he doesn't have far to go and it will help build up his leg muscle tone as well.

Well done - really really pleased and chuffed to pieces for you xxxx

I can't believe it Helen, I was so chuffed to see he had eaten a little bit of mince and sweetcorn , he has his food  on a jar lid so it's lower for him and he had eaten half the lid shall I carry on with the 2 feeds for a while and let him have a bit at night or would you cut him down to one meal ? I'm just worried about him losing weight as he is still only 150g xx

I would give him his two feeds - and see how he goes - if you make them a breakfast feed and a mid afternoon feed then he will come out at night when he is hungry - small positive steps forward and the lower eating dish is better for him as well - bless him and you xx

Thanks helen , will stick to his 2 feeds I give him one as soon as I get up and usually another around 4pm so I will keep that up . Hopefully he will continue looking for food for himself xx

If he starts to eat more then you can drop another feed off to encourage him to come out more - he can still have his treats as well xx
