| Collecting a little girl just over 12 months sometime over the weekend - will post more details when I have them but she will come with her vivarium and accessories - if anybody can help, please let me know.
She is not the friendliest of hoggies so will need somebody with some time and patience to win her over xx

| If you need someone temporarily I have room for one more. If you don't get any takers for a shy girl, I don't mind working with her to help her out of her shell either if that helps. x x | |

| You could do it Caz. All you need is time, love and patience. I've spent upwards of 2 hours a night and also time during the day with some of my more grumpy rescues and also with Livana, who was terrified when she first came to me. She lets me kiss her now. You clearly have the love - anyone can see how much you love Oscar. I'd only had my first hog Hercules for a few months when I got Pebbles, who has been one of my hardest hogs to win round. She will never be 100% trusting of me, but the bond we have is better than I imagined it would be. The rewarding feeling you get from every little step forwards is amazing. x x | |

| Totally agree with you Mel - Fabio was the most studded hog in the world and he had never known a playpen and/or a wheel - although he never became comfortable with being "fussed" he loved to play out, loved his new diet, loved his wheel and would sit by the side of me - I like to think that he enjoyed his retirement with me and even though I paid for him, he was never bred from at all - he deserved his peace and quiet.
The impact a rescue has on you never leaves either x

| I will get her into routine she will be loved and cared for xx Oscar was a little lover last night he put his nose up for neck kisses and he let me stroke his forehead before falling asleep down my top and he has been keeping his viv so tidy and he doesn't poop on us anymore xx |

| Oscar you are doing your mummy proud xx
Have got Poppy (much better name than Hogzilla) - she has come from a pet shop and sadly, not enough information given on them with regards to care etc. She has never been in a playpen and never had a wheel - she was told she didn't need them!
Feeding on a mix of Spike's wild hedgehog food and Purely - will mix the Purely in my own mix and get off the hedgehog mix.
She is a porker but this is through lack of exercise, will sort a wheel out for her and playtime is a must for her to trim her portly thighs off.
I can pick her up without gloves, which the owner was using - important to do this so that they get used to being handled properly.
You may want to look for a larger viv or I will look out for one - in my opinion the viv she is in isn't big enough long term, have got rid of the massive corner litter tray as it took up too much room in the viv - she has some new water and food bowls for her and she does have a heat mat - have popped a liner in but it has had to be folded over.
With some time, patience and love, she will be fine - she just needs handling, she did lick at my fingers so there may be a possibility she may nip , couldn't guarantee that she doesn't but feeling fairly confident she will be ok.
Caz - I am happy for her to get into her new home ASAP - are you about tomorrow and I will come over with her x
