Maisie my little fighter ...

Maisie is doing well she isn't on solids yet but i am going to start reducing the milk and introducing water and chicken .. i think she misses Xhante as much as i do .. as she squeaks a lot more now .. and she never did that before ...




She is still Tiny but at present is doing well ..x

Reducing the milk will be a good thing Lou - may seem cruel to reduce but sometimes they need a little kick start to get them onto solids - once they are on them you can replace the milk with water - fingers crosses and you know where I am if you need me. xx

Yeah thanks Helen im off to get a syringe today and some baby sunday lunch to see if she will take it she is turning her nose up at everything at the moment i have crushed chicken mealies baby food and she just wont take it .x

Rub it in her gums - it may sound harsh but she will lick it - you may have to do it again and again but she will get the hang of it - you can get a cheap hand blender from asda which means you can make your chicken into a paste which should make it easier to get in her xx

Ok ... i have syringe fed maisie had to force her mouth open a little but she has taken it ... only small bit but will continue to give her that i have now cut the milk out and put water out for her .... x

Maisie is a little wobbly today ... we think its because the milk is no longer enough ... so i will be feeding her every 2 horus for a while .. please send me good vibes i just can't lose her too it will be too much .x

Thanks Leanne she has just had her second syringe of food .. small and often ....belly looks good ... she is warm and not wet .. but not sure ..she just seems a lot quieter today .x
