Inside our hedgehogs homes....

I know that we have a sticky on this subject. However, as we have some more new members now, I was just wondering what we all have in our little prickly friends homes.

Ernie Holt has;

An Igloo
A fleece pouch (Which goes inside his igloo and folds around the doorway of it)
A wheel
Cat toys - 1 x orange squeaky mouse
1 x cuddly mouse with catnip in (doesn't make him go mad though like it does with cats though!)
1 x rabbit toy that I can hide treats in
2 bowls - 1 for water
1 for mixed food - biscuits/meat /fuit /veg (I have to mix it so that he doeasn't just eat one thing!)
Scattered mealworms during the evening time - I hide some so that he has to go and find them whilst on his evening walk-a-bout.

All the above sits on top of his nice thick fleece liners that I buy from Helen.

Puddin' Features has;

A log cabin filled with fleece bits
A wheel
Cat toys - 1 x green Squeaky mouse
1 x plastic wheel thing with a bell inside
1 x fluffy mouse thing
1 x fleece tunnel (she loves running in and out of this)
2 bowls - 1 for water
1 for mixed food - biscuits/meat /fuit /veg (I have to mix it so that she doeasn't just eat one thing!)

As with Ernie's this all sits on top of a lovely thick fleece.

Mine are based on the following:-

1 Log Cabin with removeable lid for breeding females
1 Pigloo or log cabin for the boys - XL Size as I like them to have plenty of room - use fleece pieces in their beds - couple have pouches

Cat Toys and small cuddle animals - some shifty them about, others ignore them.

All on fleece liners apart from the tenrecs and desert hogs who are on finacard

They both have food and water bowls and one treat bowl that I take out, and paper towels for litter tray.
