hey guys!

hi guys I'm really excited to be on here now. learnt a lot about pygmy hedgehogs already and really happy to say i will be getting a hog let from louvain near july. I'm 21 years of age and just love animals with all my heart i have a one year old syrian hamster called judas and a year old shihtzu called Emmie and they really are my life. so having another baby, well just makes me so happy. i work as a support worker for people with learning difficulties and do photography in my spare time and look after the babies of course. so I'm a really caring guy to be honest, i think of others first which is really wired i surpass for a 21 year old. Well just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself.

The name is stuart by the way lol - but i liked to be called stewie!

Please call me Lou . Louvain is such a mouthful . You are not even 15 mintues away so next week we can arrange it and you can come see my setup and meet some of my babies . Have a read of the sticky threads and ask as many questions as you like no question too silly .

Hey Hey Hey Stewie! Welcome to our happy forum family!

I have 3 special little cases who all own me.... Ernie Holt, who adopted me in October at about 6 months old from the rescue... Puddin' Features who is the fastest hedgehog in the West, I foster her at the moment, but chances are I'll end up adopting her long term too as she really takes some understanding.... and then there's Little Miss Daisy Splat, who is just helping me to experience my first baby hoglet, she's 7 weeks old and we are both just learning about what it's like to go through a quill, bless.. she's coping better than me it seems. These 3 prickly critterz are my greatest teachers from one extreme to the next. However, the friends and support I have here on the forum are amazing.

Please feel free to dip in and out where you like, but join on in with us and anything you would like to know, just ask and we'll try our best to look after you. It would be fantastic if you could share some of your experiences with us...

I'm sure I'm not the only one here that will be looking forward to seeing some photies (good ones too, I expect!) of your pets!
