Laying flat - can be a sign of submission. bunny might be afraid, they will "play dead"
Thumping - a wild rabbit will thump their feet to alert their warren of danger... they are signalling unease at something
Periscoping - when your rabbit "stands up" to get a better view of his surroundings
Grunting - a male rabbit who is feeling frisky will grunt as he runs around his mate. they also grunt to alert you they are uncomfortable and might try to attack!
Squealing - an alert of fear or pain
Chin rubbing - to mark their territory! rabbits have scent glands in their chin. "This is mine!"
Tiptoes - a curious rabbit will "tiptoe" up to something new to check it out - just incase they need to run!
Mounting - if the rabbit is neutered, this usually is showing dominance
Purring - a rabbit will grind his teeth if you are doing something he likes like rubbing his head. if the grinding is harder it could be a sign of pain.
Binky - leaping into the air, twisting, kicking... your rabbit is a happy bunny!
Stretched Out - a very content bunny
Circling - rabbit is happy to see you or feeling a bit frisky!
Nudging - nudging means "give me your attention!"
