| And hope is all settled into her big zoozone - nice fleece liner and a brand new wheel and a pigloo for her to sleep in. Just cooking up some mince, carrots, peas and sweetcorn for their tea - will get some new photos but Hope has obviously been handled and well cared for - sadly personal circumstances led to her been handed over but we shall keep in touch and let her mummy know that she has a good home x | |

| Sorry, things have been a bit dramatic here this morning, having checked on Hope she had attempted to hibernate - i have been warming her up down my bra so to speak and she is now ok - my hoggie room does not drop below 21 degrees as the heating is set to come on automatically if it drops below 20 - all of my other hoggies are fine and Djem was out partying last night and he had moved away from his nest box and gone to sleep under his wheel which was at the far end of his cage away from the radiator - not so for Hope, she was still in her fleece snuggle bag in her pigloo near to the radiator. I would tend to think that she has been kept at a higher temperature in her previous home and the difference was enough to trigger hibernation - heat mat is now in place x | |

| Glad she's ok now, I've never experienced a attempted hibernation but I know it would be frightening. Glad she's in good hands :-) x | |

| She doesn't know what a wheel is, that is for sure.
she has tried some food last night so hopefully she will continue to have a nibble - few lost quills this morning so will be treating with stronghold today to be on the safe side.
Djem is wheeling away like mad, eaten his food and I am getting good at avoiding teeth! | |

| Hope is a little shy - not huffy as such just a little shy - I am hoping that she comes out and eats a little more tonight as she only nibbled last night - think it will just be settling in that is needed - she will make an absolutely gorgeous pet x | |

| Helen are some hogs naturally shyer than others? I have Davina and she is a very shy girl, she's not to huffy but likes to hide her head in your hands and disappears in her bed when u go in the room. But she has been handled just as much as Dennis and he is a very out going boy. Maybe hope is a shy girl like Davina x | |
