I use fleece liners at the moment and I decided that I wanted to try using shavings, what shavings do I use because I know some are harmful to the hedgehogs respitory system? Also where can you get the preferred shavings from? Smile xx

Care fresh is the best but it's pricey...it's £5 a small bag . Id stick to fleece and maybe use carefresh or wood pellets in their litter tray.

No problem, i think fleece is easier to clean its cheap, comfortable!! I find it kills the noise of the wheel vibrating on the Viv floor!! They look nicer!! Lots of reasons!!

Wooden pellets is good in the litter tray as it makes the Viv smell woody!! Lol

What fleece liners do you use Gaga or Tayer? Do I need to make my own or can I buy them and will any fleece be ok as long as it's not too fluffy?xx

Helen (Nellie) on here makes them that you can buy, check in market place further down the index page and look for updated fleece patterns, or you can make your own too using fleece, cut it to size and sew it up making sure there are no bits of cotton that could potentially get wrapped around the hoggys foot xx
