Summer hoglets – May, June and July (1st litters)

Autumn juveniles – August and September (2nd litters)

Distressed babies give out shrill squeaks and will need rescuing. (they will need warmth, milk(Not cows milk) and toileting).

Wobbling, staggering hoglets or those rushing about need help IMMEDIATELY. WARMTH, REHYDRATION AND FOOD.

Very recent studies done by Vale wildlife centre have shown that you don't need to toilet hoglets, they go by themselves. The theory is that the mum licking them is for hygiene purposes.
