Patience will not eat any form of solid food and is even picky about soggy biscuits. I have finally reached an agreement with her that she will eat soggy kitten biscuits. Anyway, this needed sorting out so she has been to the vets to discover the cause. Her teeth are fine, mild dental disease which apparently is to be expected but her intestines are thickened. A faecal culture has been sent off for analysis.

This is the bill I was faced with..

Sevoflo (I presume anesthetic) £18.00
Radiography £62.18
Faecal screen £34.32
Sampling report £30.00

Total £144.50 OUCH!!!!

She better make loads of babies when she's released!

I have found one in my town that won't charge consultation fees but they can pretty much charge whatever they like.

I get a few small donations, ten and twenty pounds here and there but mostly I go without things for myself.

I don't have a good job, I'm a healthcare assistant so I earn little more than minimum wage. It's very difficult.
