| I intend to add a photo of every one of my babies - should be quite a job but it will show the diversity in the colouring from each litter

| Litter 16 - Hermione (Chocolate) and Boss Hog (Algerian Grey) My most heartbreaking litter every - Hermione gave birth to three babies on 27th February 2010, I found one baby dead on 8th March and another on the 12th march, the second baby looked like it's bottom had exploded - no marks on her nothing, to date I shall always question my next move and whether or not I did the right thing but the one remaining baby was so small and had abnormal back legs but her eyes had so much expression that top up feeding was the only thing both nigel and i thought of - Hermione seemed to realise that we were trying to help her and over the coming days we would take Tuppence out and supplement her milk from mum with goat's milk which she would lap up like no tomorrow - when it was time for weaning we crushed up biccies and diced chicken up and she readily took to the food - we used to put her in a scrabble box lid as she was so tiny but she pottered about even on her funny legs - we really thought we had made it but sadly, one evening when I went to get her out it was obvious that she had had some kind of stroke as she couldn't move her waist down - I picked her up and snuggled her on to my chest asking Nigel to ring the vet, before anything else, she looked at me, snuggled down into the palm of my hand and fell into her final sleep - nothing could have prepared for this at all - even now it brings tears to my eyes, the whole family loved her so much, my darling Tuppence, such a short life but one filled with much love, happiness and choggie cuddles - you will always be in my heart and your final resting place is in our garden in the sunniest spot and finally we have found the perfect flower for you, Russian Snowdrops have been planted all around you and come spring, they will flower in your memory. And the painting that I had done of my darling girl | |

| Same as her dad Boss Hog - who I don't think is an algerian grey - too blonde, miss her Lou and when doing something like this, it brings it all back like yesterday, I wouldn't give two hoots about somethings but this hurt like hell and still does - i did question whether or not to keep breeding at this point but with Nigel's support he told me to carry on so carry on i did, and here is my next litter Litter 17 - Holly (Cinnamon) and Henry (Brown) Three Brown Girls, Eve, Lara Croft and Amber (Amber is the mum of the rescue girl I have in also called Holly) | |
