my new addition ....

Well it has been confirmed that my new addition is coming home on Friday .. so i am off to get the stuff for his new encloser ... will upload pictures shortly x

ill get to meet this fella too, its going to be a great little meet! xx

is he an indoor tortoise?

yeah .... he will be in the hog room Tayer although he will have a encloser outside too .x

Still need some slate and maybe one big rock .... got the vits .. and will be growing some of my own weeds for him .. still need a name ..

my friends suggestions are

hortoise .. the tortoise lol .x

yep not finished yet still needs some bits hoping Helen can help as she knows what to put in .. but not bad for first attemt .. hoping he will love it .x

That is a lovely set up Lou, I must admit I do not know an awful lot about hedgehogs but have always wanted one!

Looks spot on to me Lou - you can get grass seed kits as well - grow in a plastic tray thing - different texture x

aww thanks all so much my friend Vicky who has a few has commented how good it is . just a few finishing touches looking into the plants now .x

This is a fab set up....you need a carrabean umbrella matching the hut...haha and a doll deck chair .... and a bit of sand teehee!!!

he has 50 percent sand .. as that is his substrate ..

the house was in the sale .. the tortoise statues were 50p each ... the pool is a square bakiing tin 99p .. most of the stones were out of my garden .. the most expensive thing is the lights .. but they are on order .. think i might end up with two .. little tortoises lol x

ohhhhhh thats just cool...very interesting little things arent they...

cant wait Tayer .. wanted one for ever .. but now i have the hog room Ed dont mind ... someone told me the Horsefields have quirky little characters x

I put a bit of hay in my tortoises home Lou, it's nice for him to sleep on and he eats it too . X

Thanks for that Jo always have hay in for the guinea pigs and Burdock .... I just need to order some plants on line not sure where though lol x
