Rigsby as settled down really well and he just loves Tomatos we are handling him and tickling under his chin and calling him to us ... he isnt phased and rarely goes into his shell ..

Aww, he's lovely! Meldrew loves his tomato! He really loves green beans too - I think they're his favourite. x

They vary Jake on the breed you have from about 100 to 300 ish ... the thing is hatchlings you can watch grow ...

I like how friendly she was and the fact she had the correct set ups and she had no problem me meeting mommy and daddy .

Rigsby is licensed .. as he has to have a cert .. and he is been chipped when he reaches 100 m .x

it can effect their shells someone just said im doing some research he is totally weed fed but he loves the toms .. goes crazy over it .. but they say even as a treat is a no no ..x

some people say its fine ... but id rather not take the risk so will have to treasure this pic lol x

i can imagine there is lots of conflicting views as with many pets, but do what you feel is best yeah treasure the pics xx

Lou, I think some people are getting a bit carried away. Did they tell you that on facebook?Some of the stuff they say to each other etc is a bit...erm.. OTT to be honest. It is perfectly acceptable to give them stuff from a supermarket including tomatoes. It even says so on the sites they referred me to when I asked them about Meldrew. They can't have too much tomato, but every now and then as a treat is perfectly fine. I give Meldrew a slice once or twice a month. Don't let them get you over thinking things - you will do fine by little Rigsby! x x
