Does it look like a butterfly....!! ???
The magnificent Madagascan Sunset Moth was first categorized as a butterfly in 1773 by Dru Drury but was later deemed a 'moth' in 1831.
It is a day-flying moth and most interestingly, the iridescent parts of the wings which make it so beautiful actually do not contain any pigment; rather, the colors originate from optical interference.
It is highly sought after by collectors and I can obviously see why.
This is by far the most dazzling moth I've ever seen. What about you??
