Im a sucker ...

For a rescue . Eden noticed this on preloved needed a good home ,, has cheered me up after losing bear ..the thing is i havent had much of a look in as Eden has been with him lol ..This is the last addition to my family ...

He is a Leopard and will not hibernate he will grow really large so next summer we will build him a very large encloser in the garden .. he can grow up to 18 inches and 40lbs some have been known to grow bigger . He will live indoors in the winter ... he is a little head shy but is coming around .. he has eaten since we got him home ...He has a really great shell no cracks dents and he isn't domed at all you can tell he has been looked after he is currently settling in ..
The lady was lovely and just wanted him to have a good home , she kept him in a large viv .. with me he will free base around the hog house and my house ..he does use a litter tray .. from what im told not seen him go yet though only in the garden ..

I am aware that breeds are not to be mixed and Monty as we are going to call him will be no where near Rigsby who has taken residents upstairs ..

Yeahh .. Eden called the lady told me he was taken me out for dinner ... and we went to collect him lol .. was really nice ..

I just need some more lights .. which i will get tomorrow .x

he looks similar to the one my friend used to have in her garden...used to go looking for him in the long grass.

He is sooooooooo cheeky looking! I'm proper chuffed for you. If I had a garden I would love one of these. They are lovely! I shall have to make do with looking at the big 'uns at Bristol Zoo when we go on Friday! Apparently they have a tortoise there who weighs 28 stones!!! x x

Hubby is just building Monty a pen for the garden .. .. and a smaller one for Rigs not that they will get much time out there but at least a couple of weeks .. im not hibernating Rigs this year he is too small , but Monty will never be hibernated .x

Its finished Ed has done a really good job on it .... really proud of him Monty is enjoying the space then he comes in of a night time ... hopefully we may get a few more sunny days before the cold really sets in .x

He's lovely Lou ...... How old is he ? He looks like he's in good Health , he will love it in the garden but it's getting cold now , I have to get ours in as soon as the kids get back from School as the temp really drops and she starts digging and trying to bury herself to keep warm !! Lol x

He is 3 years old Jo and 9 inches his shell is very smooth .. he dont hibernate so he is a little more hardy ..but we did put in after school tonight ..he is a little shy but he will soon come around .. really over the moon with him .. my hubby is a good un sometimes .. looking forward to seeing him grow huge .x

Ya leapord tortoise. We love them but could not find one when we were looking . He looks good.
