Some are malnourished and freezing cold, some have been poisoned and others have broken bones following road collisions, animal attacks or occasionally through deliberate cruelty.
This young hoglet came in at the weekend and appeared to have glue in its nostrils. The substance has been cleared out and the other wounds have been treated. A fractured jaw has been wired and leg dislocation has been stabilised. The hoglet is bearing up under these injuries and is eating.
