Little concerned bout my leopard Monty he doesn't seem to be eating much he is does not hibernate .. But wondered if he slowed down through the winter ?

If no one knows I will post on my tortoise page x

Yeah his bulbs have only just been changed Mel and no signs of a cold or respiratory infection . I mailed a lady who keeps leopards so hopefully she will get back to me today x

Hi Lou , I don't have a monty but I know my tortoise slows down in the winter , she doesn't eat half as much , I keep her heat lamp on permanently and she is always basking under it , I think as long as he's got no mucus out of his nose and his eyes are clear and clean maybe he's just slowing for the winter . X

Our guy is a cherry head red toed tortoise and he seems to slow down to in he winter.

I have had my mind put at rest from someone who also has a Leopard they do slow down and then tend to leave a natural light on all day which is ok as i can do that in the hog house .x
