Holly the hedgehog, who was recently found near-death in Oxfordshire, England, is feasting on delicious pudding (made from puppy chow) thanks to staff at the St. Tiggywinkles wildlife hospital in Buckinghamshire.
A good Samaritan brought the shivering and starving little creature to the sanctuary – and the staff there got creative in the kitchen when she was finally able to eat solids.
"She was feed on liquid food for the first few days," hospital founder Les Stocker said. "Eventually when she was strong enough to have solid food we made some Christmas puddings out of Pedigree Chum puppy food for her. She loved them so much she ate two in a row!"
While Holly fattens up, the sanctuary's staff hopes for a Christmas miracle: that they'll soon be able to release her back into the wild!
