Derek .....update x

Derek is doing really well , he eats on his own now , he only eats a small amount but he drags himself to the edge of his bed where I put his food and eats , I have tried putting his food a bit further away from his bed but when I do that he never eats. He still only weighs 150g but seems happy enough in himself , he comes out for hours at night with me and loves cuddles , he still struggles on his legs but doesn't seem to be in any pain they just don't seem to do what he wants them to do , it's as if he has no feeling in them . I have added some pics that I took this morning and u can see how small he is on the one that he's balled up in my hand

I'm really pleased with how he is doing helen , I really did think I was going to lose him at one point , but he obviously loves life too much ! x

Very true Jo - he will put smiles on your face when you are low and his love for you shows in his sheet determination to be a huge part of your life x
