| Iestyn has absolutely fallen in love with dexter, but iv told them all he only on holidays, coz I know gav will go ape on me. Iestyn is now begging for a pet rat to look after, and iv spotted gav reading up about them...lol so I wouldn't be surprised if we get another pair some time soon. I would highly recommend a pet rat for kids, they are playful and hardy little things...and will take all the picking up and smoothing and kids following them everywhere he goes...lol Kids have been giggling and laughing at him for hours. | |

| Aww, he's gorgeous. Always wanted a rat as a kid, but my mum hated them. Bet she'd have changed her mind if she'd met one like Dexter. They get too bad a reputation, bless them.x | |

| Lol no I havnt told gav, coz he doesn't want me to have another animal on the. List of animals I already have...but I think Iestyn will get his own way, I'm sure. Dexter is slowing down I can see that some days he's hyper other days he just wants to cuddle up and sleep. | |

| I don't think he smells, but then he is a room full of hedgehogs, so they probably smell more...lol I read that males smell more than females? | |

| His balls are the biggest iv ever seen, and Gavs mum said...what's those things hanging down? Apparently rats can't or don't know how to pleasure themselves? So iv been told. | |

| They have one of the largest testicles to body ratios of the mammals. No, they dont pleasure themselves, they do alot of humping behaviour for dominance and I had one boy who accidentally got too into it (gag!) but only once :p I think boys can smell worse, but not as noticeable a difference as mice He is gorgeous btw! | |

| Lmao male hogs get too into it all the time humping toys and their fleece pouches...been known to hump their owners hands...or in their hands. And it's a bugger to clean out of fabric.
Thanks I am pleased with him...Iestyn is determined to change his dads mind, iv never heard him beg and nag for something before...dad normally spoils them.

| Rats just make fantastic pets for children ( and just about anyone ) so it's no wonder! I couldn't recommend getting one from a breeder more. They are friendlier and healthier I read that about male hogs :p thats the only thing thst makes me lean towards females :p | |

| Not all male hogs hump - mine are clean boys!
Is Gav feeling slightly inferior to Dexter - and if you think his balls are big, we shall have to get a picture of Ody Hog's balls, could use them for slippers! (sorry Fifi)

| Lmao no way...he's obviously frustrated then... Iv found a breeder in Swansea and there is a rescue in Bristol what does it mean when it says a feeder breeder? They came from a feeder breeder... | |

| It means they've been rescued from a person who breeds rats for snake food. The breeder I use is in Swindon and sometimes visits Swansea as well. She is brunel rattery if you want to look her up | |

| Thought it might have been. I'll look her up, I'm surprised there rant many people closer breeding rats...they are all quite far away or at least a 40minute drive... Thanks | |
