| Clover is another amputee that I collected from the vets on Saturday, this one has had one of his back legs removed. I say he is a 'he' but not 100% sure as yet as this one curls up a lot more than Branston, but considering its a wild hog still quite tame. I have to take him back to the vets tonight as I am not happy with the way the wound is healing at the moment, as they told me the wound had been treated and that no more treatment was needed, but to be honest I am not confident as the wound is looks as it has alot of pus in it, so with any luk its just a case of antibiotics and more steriod cream. I will let you know how he gets on, and will put some piccies up soon as its another cutie [mind you which hedgie isnt!!!] | |

| Clover is being keep in at the vets for a few days as she has got an infection and they need to flush it all out, and give her a course of anti biotic injections, so I think she will be there till at least wednesday. Spoke to the vet yesterday and he is doing well and eating, so fingers crossed he will be back home soon. | |

| Clover is now back home, I collected him on Saturday, his wound and infection has now healed fully but the poor thing has a couple of bald patches where he has had so many injections. What concerns me now is that he weighs over a kilo which for this time of year even for a non hibernating hog is far too overweight so he is now on a diet !!! | |

| Well just been in the garden to check on Clover & Tripod and for a 3 legger Clover is charging all around the garden at lightening speed, which is really lovely to see and will help get some of his excess weight off as he is way too big for this time of year! | |

| I have a 3 legged hog Gimpy and he weighs in at 1400 grams but isn't overweight. he hcan still make a very tight ball.
Just wanted to point out to everyone that hogs come in different shapes and sizes even when fully grown. What is overweight for one may not be for another.
Well done with CLover, would love to see some photos. | |
