| I decided to to this review as i have used them quite a lot over the last 2 weeks with the girls . I have changed my view on the snuggle pad i think as it does not keep a regular temperature and is either too hot or too cold in the case of the girls it tended to make them sweat and they didn't maintain a regular warm temp , which is vital for babies . In the last few days i have being using the heat mat reptile kind under Maisies cage and the constant even temp is keeping her warm she is able to get off the mat if she is too hot but i have found that she is snug .. on there .x The other worrying thing the snuggle pads you can keep in the microwave for 6 mins i left mine in for 7 as the top amount of time is 8 mins this is what i was left with ... Please be careful as it actually burnt one of my pouches ... not something i will use for my hogs again .x [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| That could've have been dangerous Lou. I also use a reptile heatmat for Ernie, underneath his zoozone, down his igloo end, he gets all snuggled in his pouch in there. I have a thermometer on top of his igloo and it stays just ove 72degrees. He sometimes goes down the other end if he gets too warm. However, because its gone really cold and he has cage top that you have on a zoozone, I've put a towel across it before I left this morning.

| I can check the size of mine when I go home for you Tayer.
It doesn't have a thermostat on it, you have to buy that separately. However, without using a thermostat, I find that if I touch the plastic of the base of the zoozone, it is quite hot but with the fleece liner, then the pouch inside the igloo, its a constant heat. I have Ernie on top of a chest of drawers and find that inside the top drawer the clothes are always warm so this shows where the heat escapes!at the moment I have the heat pad underneath the zoozone at one end.

| Thats the one Amy, they come in different sizes. It says on your link that if used for reptiles that they can sit on top of or hide underneath it. I would say that this is only the case if there was a thermostat on it as it would get too hot.

Just be careful if you're not using a thermostat Tayer as they can get quite hot. Unless you can put it under one end of the hutch? xoxox | |
