| could some-one tell me the dimensions of your home made vivs??
also...what the best way for the door?? i.e open up, down, half and half, sliding??
what wood are they made from?? specially the floor part??...as we know wood soaks smell.
i like orla's viv's....but i cant work out how the doors are attached....and locked?? plus if it was glass or not.

| Will measure mine for you tayer - dad made mine half and half with a batton down the front to make them secure - will check on the wood for you as well | |

| Mine are 4ft by foot and half .. mine aren't sperated they are made like a huge bookcase .x | |

| thanx lou....im thinking separate....and stacked....coz ill need to haul them up the attic...plus...the sloping roof..maybe a pain with more than 2 stacked on top of each other....dads too busy to build them... ...just phoned him now....parents are putting the house up for sale....so is trying to sort decorating it out. found a man on e-bay who sells them....but they open from the top...so then i cant stack them....at £75 each. im gonna phone gavs friend..now... | |

| I reckon you are better off with stackables Tayer, and most definitely with front opening ones. Lou's look fab and the one's that Helen's Pops made for her are brilliant.

| Why don't you go for a standard viv with glass fronts - easy to put up - allen key fittings - can take them in the loft, build them and stack them - the Viv-Exotic vivs have vents in the back and you can pop the top three out to allow for good ventilation - you could have VX36 or VX48 - if you want the dimensions let me know x | |

| gavs friend who was our best man said he would price it up for me...for him to make....he is a carpenter...and is single....so he should have plenty of time...lol
but i will let you know...they dont call him slug for nothing....lol how much are those vivs?? ill need at least 3?? | |

This Vivarium measures L 122 x D 37.5 x H 40.5 cm.
I have this one nd it's great fits larrys wheels in and has plenty floor space. It's also free delivery:) | |

| i've got the vx48 and they are great, loads of room and as helen said pop out the top vents for extra ventilation. i also leave the doors open a little bit x really easy to put together too x | |
