Hey guys, has anyone tried using those mite disks for bird cages? One of my customers asked about it and I just want to be sure it works and wont harm the hoggie.

Thanks!

I have never had to deal with mites to be honest ..but i am on the understand that Xeno 50 is a good one that you can purchase on line .. and i believe a vet would recommend Stronghold , but im sure there are lots of different treatments out there .

We use revolution for puppis and kittens over here. Works VERY well and can be purchased online with a vets help. Thats the only thing I have heard of over here. Inexperienced vets do use Ivermectin and thats a dewormer and such for horses. If measured wrong it could kill the hedgehog and it has happened to many breeders over here before the discovery of revolution working on hedgehogs...
