| Djem was purchased from a petshop and is thought to be around 18months old . He has being past around till Gill took him in . He is a known biter and did bite Helen twice yesterday meaningful bites too . He is very huffy but i also think with Helen he will come around .. Helen did not put him back until he had settled down a little . He loved the wheel last night .. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Djem ... annointing over my floor ...x | |

| A lot of it will be down to not been handling but Gill did say that he tends to bite if you go to stop him from doing something - like munching on the carpet - a blow in the face usually stops him - to be fair, i have had far grumpier hoggies, Burdock Growler and Fabio and i am pretty sure he will come to an understanding with me - as lou says, my hands are like leather so a little nip will not kill me but i have assured gill that if i think he may be prone to biting, he will remain with me on a permanent basis.
He is safe and sound at home - survived the car journey, rather proud as I knocked another ten minutes off my journey - 2.5 hours in total - at a steady 70 mph!!! | |

| Well Djem has decided that he likes my food, cleared his chicken and peas last night and then partied on through the night.
He was on the sofa with me last night, he is really quick to come out of a ball when you leave him to it - the only problem is that my sofa got more bites than me!!
He is very huffy when you lift him out but will unball in three/four minutes and then you have to watch your hands - hopefully, with some stubborness on my part he will realise that he will be OK - stunningly beautiful boy and will get updated photos of them both tomorrow.

| He must have had a terrible life to be a repetitive biter .. he couldn't be with anyone better if you can't turn him around no one can x | |

| Laura has been over to visit me earlier today, showed her some of my hoggies, Blossom, Daisy Duke, Boss Hog, Milligan, even my pregnant Hollie - all were very well behaved - get Djem out to basically show people the difference between a well socialised hog and one that has not been socialised and got a nice set of teeth imprints on my fingers to show for it - my shirt buttons were particularly good and also the chain on my necklace - he is coming out quicker each time he is out but I do feel that the biting is imprinted now - feel so very very sad for him at the moment - hopefully, we will come to an understanding that he will allow us to handle him but he will not become a cuddle hog | |
