Oh god I no .. long day and one morning shift ... shifts are better now though so cant complain girls messy night sat lolx

Derek is still enjoying his feeds , he still only weighs 140g and still struggles on his legs , so he doesn't come out at night but he has 4 feeds a day and I try and spend as much time as I can with him while he is up in the day and try and encourage him to walk , he has now got the hang of standing in the corner of his cage and leaning against the side to have a wee and a poo which is a step forward I have had his name on his little cage for him I don't know if he will ever go back in a bigger cage or not but at the minute he is happily living in his cosy cage xxx

As long as he is happy that is what counts Jo - did you use the rolled up towels - it might help him as might a little hydrotherapy x

I use the rolled up towel to prop him up and it does help how do I go about giving him hydrotherapy ?? X

You need to fashion a small towel/flannel to help hold him up in the water - run a sink with enough warm water that he cannot stand up in it - using the flannel to support him, it will make him use his legs to swim and it should help him build up some strength in his leggies x

I will give it a go Helen , how often should I do it ? Do you mean roll the flannel up to make like a float for him ? X

A float with handles as you will have to hold him by the float if that makes sense - couple of times a week - see how you go xx

Glad he is still eating Jo I think what Helen said may help him to strength his legs ... sorry for not giving you a bell so much on at the mo ... going to get babies out soon so will update with pictures of deano for you

was thinking along the same lines as Helen, if you supported him from underneath with a flannel(you could cut out holes for his legs like a harness) you could try some physio on him by massaging his legs and holding him in an upright position x may be worth a try x

Thanks sue , I am grateful for any advice , I will try anything because if it helps him even in the smallest way it's a bonus x
