| A wheel is a great addition for hedgehogs. Be sure to buy a giant sized wheel that is 11” or so big. It should also be made of solid plastic, so the hedgehog’s feet won’t get caught while running. I recommend larrys Wheels. In the wild, hedgehogs are always on the move at night and they need plenty of exercise to prevent obesity. Other toys could be toilet paper rolls, cat balls with bells, toy trucks to push around, plastic PVC pipe fittings, tunnels… the list goes on. Be creative, but make sure the hedgehog can’t get caught in it.kongs are good too |

| The little beanie toys that come in Happy Meals from McDonalds make good little toys as well - I have some that will snuggle up with them in the nest boxes and others like to kill them. | |

| Ernie has a little orange squeaky mouse that he carries round, when he first met it, he tried to kill it! I think he loves it now though. Xoxox | |

| Belle drowned her mouse every morning - she now has a cuddly hoggie and a ball and completely ignores them - Dougal cuddles up with his mouse and the babies are just throwing everything everywhere x | |
