The Truth About Hedgehog Fleas

Hedgehog fleas are host specific.


They can only live on hedgehogs, they are harmless to humans and domestic pets, and cannot live in your carpet or furniture like other fleas.

Never spray a hedgehog with flea spray, If they are completely infested the safest product to use is a pyrethrum based powder.

I think there is a lot of old wifes tails about hedgehogs ...x

they were probably told to stop kids picking them up if they saw them....but you dont see them that often anymore!!
