Nefrititi and Ramesis...

well after loosing their sister in the early hours of this morning, Yinis' last two abandoned hoglets are doing well so far - so here are some pics. They are only 13 days old today...

They are lovely i hope they make it ... i aksed on the other thread was it Yini who destroyed her last litter Hayley ?

yea it was Yini - this time she looked after them until ten days old then started abandoning them one at a time. We have had works going on to fix our broken heating over the last three days and I think the noise has scared her I may give her one more go for bubs as I feel she only left these due to noise and not character but no more tries if she does this again.

I haven't had a destroyed litter but i have thought long and hard what i would do if i had ... If one of my girls destroyed a litter i would try her once more if she abandoned or destroyed the next litter i wouldnt bother again .

had a scare today - found Nefertiti limp and cold - she had moved off the heat and hibernated!! I warmed her up, sorted the heat pad out so she cant do again and she is back to her normal cheeky self...


Ramesis and Nefertiti are both doing well so far, 15 days old, looks like eyes will open soon

Oh no... I hadn't realised they could start to hibernate from this earl in life. I do hope that they are going to be alright....

it was awful - she was totally floppy and limp, like a toy - glad she came out of it

Im going through the same thing with Tallulahs babies and i have to say its pretty scary and mine are 20 days old and eyes are open ...x

mine are doing well - I have increased the number if feeds per day as they didnt gain weight but still strong. Nefi has just started opening her eyes and given me a surprise! She looks like she has ruby red eyes! I thought she was a brown lol

Bet the two of you will find these little ones hard to part with - I am keeping my fingers crossed for both of you xx

So pleased they are all doing well xxx

I am deffo keeping Nefi if she makes it - I dont think I have room to keep both though

which one is Nefi ... Im in love with both of mine but both have homes going to be hard to let them go .x

Tell you ladies, they steal into your heart these babies when they are relying on you to feed them and care for them - they have their own special place there and that never leaves you

very very true. If they dont make it, it really breaks your heart

I had my little tuppence as a tattoo on my back - my own little tribute to her but Tuppence was different to both of your babies as she has problems with her back legs - I am hoping that they all pull through and I am sure that they will x
