I bought this for £7.50 off Ebay and im going to attempt to convert it into a 2 viv stack!! What do you reckon? All ideas welcome.

Im taking out the shelves and blocking off the remaining shelves with wood batons to the rear of them., so no trapped legs Putting locks on (up and over doors). Making a large hole from side to side on each level.
Inside is the same material as in a standard viv so not porous.
Will put vents in also. bounce

Sounds like a good idea Annette. I've had trouble zooming in on the photie so can't work out the size of it. How big is it?

Fablon is a great idea as it does stop the widdle from soaking into the wood - looks like you have a job on your hands now - looking forward to seeing the finished results x

Its just short of four foot square and 18inches depth.

Its made of the same sort of melamine coated wood as a viv normally is and the 'glass' is plastic ( Ikea).

Thought i may put a short length of big diameter drain pipe from one side to the other as a tunnel.
Only thing i have to think about is how to cut the hole!

U can get the round cutters to put on the end of a drill. That's how I cut the holes for vents in my stack x

UPDATE
Ive fabloned, cut vent holes , added locks and cut out 2 large holes to go from one side of each level to the other.
Im not sure what to do about the inside hole surfaces. As its like a chipboard type wood with a melamine coating I now have exposed chipboard which will soak up poop and wee. The only idea I have at present is too use some ducting [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

But not sure about the edges.....anyone else have any ideas to 'line' the hole?

The floors arnt chipboard Jake its just the inner of the wood - its coated in melamine stuff as a normal viv is made off! So its only where ive drilled the big holes that you can see the exposed stuff.
