| i read on a facebook wild hedgehog page....how hedgehogs are riddled with worms....so be careful....it puts me off picking them up see.. | |

| Hi all just got back from the vets he is having all the ticks removed and will be going to a carer over winter as too small to hibernate.I had done all the right things by him so it really pleased so thanks for help helen and lou xx |

| Not all wildies have worms - normally you will find ticks - best thing to remove them is a Tick Picker (try saying it quickly when drunk) you have to be really careful as you can remove the body and leave the head inside - you have to get right down to the skin and grip tightly around the base of the tick where it enters the skin and then pull and twist at the same time to get the head out as well - have removed several from the wildies that have come my way and some of them have been whoppers - makes your skin crawl! | |

| when i went to centre parcs with the hen party one of the girls woke up from bed and found a tick on her belly....she had to go to the ranger first aid...lol that was cringe. | |

| Poor little thing had loads even one in the corner of his eye as seen in pic.I will ring vets in the morning and ask where he will be going and to get update xx |

| Just to say he's done really well all ticks removed and was treated for worms he is now at a carers but. They wouldn't give me details but are passing mine on so I'm looking forward to update xx |
