my friend posted this pic not long ago, she had a hog on her garden just thought id share the pic because it is quite cute - even though there is milk and im quite concerned why he is out in the day xx i have told her that they are lactose intolerant also xx

yeahhhh make sure they don't leave any milk out Jake ... that is really important . It doesn't look that big ..maybe Gill or Amiee can give a little advice on what to do .x

If this hog is out during the day then it most likely needs help. If it now has a belly full of milk on top of already needing help then it needs urgent help. But if you've told her then there's not a lot else you can do.

Yes I thought it was odd being out during the day and also getting milk = bad poorly hoggy!! Sad I spoke to her today and she feels really bad about giving milk - but she said that her mom took it and placed it in a field nearby wich also wasn't a good idea because now it needs to travel to find it's home poor thing! There are lots of people out there that don't know these things and they think there helping but because they are uneducated about it they could be making things worse xx
