new home zoozone 2 £43.99

i recently bough 2 zoozone cages for my babies and couldnt belive what a fantastic price they were i got them from an online shop run by a lovely couple

all i need to do now is fill it with goodies and toys

...Obivious question time - are they Zoozone 2's? ...I ask 'cos I made a mistake with a vivarium not so long ago.

I got my zoozone 2 from Ebay for £39.99 + £4.99 P&P - to replace the 'bargain' vivarium.

If they are the biguns then you've got a real bargain!

It's just that I've been in a petshop where they claimed they were selling the 'big blue' zoozone at 'the best price in the midlands'. What they were actually selling was the Medium Blue zoozone - I pointed out that it was considerably smaller and a lighter shade of blue. Also, that the actual 'II' has Zoozone 2 on the perspex section...

They were not happy - but like I said at the time they were lucky I was pointing it out and not trading standards!

they still have them on their site as ive got two zoozone 2,s and 1 zoozone 1

i asked him why they were so cheap he said its just that people are so greedy and know they can charge as much as they want they are a working couple and its a little online shop

everywhere else are charging £65 -£75

I made some pouches for the little hoggies and now am going to attempt to make fleece liners
im going through too many puppy pads i buy them from the £1 shop for a pack of 5
but id rather have a re-usable source

ive got 3 flying saucer wheels but i would love the bucket type wheels what is the cheapest price and why isnt anyone in the uk making them? or are they?

Your right about pricing. I never buy before shopping around online. The bargains are out there - you've just got to be determined (and willing to spend the time) to find 'em!

I tend to start with Ebay because you can set your own criteria for the search - in my case that means the best quality I can get as cheaply as possible lol!

As for the wheels, the Larry wheels are absolutely amazing - a league apart from anything you can get on the market here. Just ask anyone here. I bought one a few weeks ago and am really pleased - it's totally silent and so smoooth! I was really pleased with the price too. They really cost on Ebay, but here it was only a few pounds more than a Silent Wheel which (in my opinion) is no where near as sturdy.

I feel I just have to add that a lot of on-line shops do not have the overheads that small shop owners do - they get different rate values on their properties as they are not classed as retail and although they buy from the same places as the rest of the shops - they get vastly reduced prices as if they were to buy at the same prices that shops have to buy them at they would not be able to sell them for £ 43.99 - a zoozone costs me £ 42.78 plus VAT

yeah helen this is so true... i've been toying with opening my own shop for a while now, but im worried i just wont be able to compete price-wise with internet shopping and it's putting me off xxx

You can't Josie - this is the simple answer - there are so many on-line pet shops that out compete the smaller shops

it's the same with us in a way..it costs me more to get stuff from the cash n carry than tesco sell it for..it would be cheaper for me to buy them at tesco and just stick a bit extra on..but i don't see why i should give tesco the business when as all they want to do is put the small shops out of business...i hate people who come in the shop and moan that our bread is a few pence dearer than tesco..tesco get sale or return on bread...i don't. we just say now well go tesco.it costs them more to get there than they save
