| so Theo has been nibbling at the edge of his heat mat on the clear plastic. i was thinking of just removing it and changing to the ceramic heat,iam worried its now unsafe although its only the edges and not the actual black bit. what do you think? | |

| Have you stuck it down at all - if not, stick it down with a good strong tape so that he cannot nibble at the edges - or stick it on the back wall so that it will give out an ambient heat all round x | |

| im having trouble with petals not sleeping on her heat mat, and sleeping else where and then getting cold....so iv had to put it against the side of the viv.... | |

| By putting them on the side of the viv they still give out a nice warm heat and if you have them in stacks, the heat rises up in to the one above | |

| You have the VX viv don't you? If you put the lead to the top, take the plug off and then feed it through the top of the viv - think there is a small semi circle space for a lead to go through, it not, pop it through the vent hole at the top and just put a little piece of tape over the wire to hold it flat to the back on the viv on the inside x | |
