A couple of questions re ceramic heaters ...

Where and how do you use these?
Can they be rigged up to a thermostat?
Obviously more suitable for in a viv than a zoozone, but are they safe to use close to fleece liners etc?

Ceramit heaters - these should be fixed securely to the ceiling of the viv's and when connected to the correct themostat, they will not overheat and will cut off and on when needed keeping the temperature stable.

I had one of these over one of the tenrecs and they are brilliant - never had a problem with them and safe to use with fleece liners as they are high up and not within touching distance.

Thanks Helen. Do they eat up the electricity?

They come in different wattages - so the higher the wattage the higher the running cost - would have to check it out for you x
