| Hi All
Just been having a look online and seen these pop up a few times for heating for hoggies.
Has anyone used them before or heard good/bad reviews on them?
Cheers

| I used to have one on my tenrecs - you will need to have a controller on it to keep it at the correct temperature | |

| Are they good Helen? And would it be possible to attach it to my zoozone somehow, or am I better or with a heat mat and a thermostat? | |

| In a zoozone, heat mat and thermostat - ceramic heat emitters should be fixed securely inside a viv and not on a zoozone lid in my opinion. x | |

| Do these go outside the vivs. I have a three stack and the bottom one is always a couple of degrees colder than the top two. Would it work if I put it on the bottom outside I would worry if inside - can they get away from heat or chew anything?

| Heat mats .. i have mine inside and i have no problems at all .. i just check them over .. when i check my hogs in the morning ....not sure the heat would be strong enough to go through the bottom of a viv Christina | |

| I use CHE as have vivs. But I need to get some heatmats as back up for Zoozone etc. Can any one recommend size/wattage for me? They will be on a thermostat, like my CHEs.
On a side note, I love my CHEs, really easy to use, bulbs last absolutely ages (one of them still going after a year). | |

| Ta chick. Gonna buy one though, just in case. Then if I need it before you can get it to me, I'm OK. Some of them are huge, some smaller, and they vary from 4w to 40w, obviously 4w not going to be very hot. would this one be OK? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |
