Support your local Hedgehog and Wildlife Rescues!
It costs money to run a Hedgehog Rescue.
Popular Hedgehog Rescues could receive hundreds of call a day. These calls could be from all around the country. But despite this, many are willing to travel many miles to collect a Hedgehog in need.
This will, of cause, have an impact on their money. Fuel prices have gone up at a staggering rate. This means that many Hedgehog Rescues will find themselves out of pocket. Having to turn down Hedgehogs in need is not a easy thing to do at all, it is heartbreaking, especially for those who have grown to love the Hedgehog.
But sadly, that is what some people are having to do.
Now, many are pleading for help from the public, for donations. This will go all towards helping the Hedgehogs and nothing else.
This is for a worthy Cause.
Each and every penny given can fund costs towards anything from a can of dog meat to an incubator - a potentially life saving piece of equipment designed to warm Hedgehogs up they may have been found cold. Obviously, this does not come cheap.
It's not just money that Hedgehog Rescues will take, however.
Hedgehog Rescues always need items such as:
Hay
Wood shavings
Newspaper
Towels
Cat/dog meat and biscuits
Cages
Cardboard boxes
