Bramble has arrived!!

Earlier today we went to pick up Bramble, our new hoglet she's 8 weeks old today. She's been ever so brave - she had to meet a few family members and my housemates, as well as an hour and a half in the car (with super noisy hail and everything) and she's not balled up once!!

Anyway I just thought I'd post a few pictures, there aren't many cos she's very speedy.
(she's in a hamster cage with cardboard round the edges, we used it to get her home - she's got a nice big ZooZone now )

You can't see her missing eye in any of these, it's on her left. She doesn't seem bothered by it at all though!

I realised I did take one that shows her eye. It's just an empty socket, she doesn't seem to mind at all and it didn't stop her sniffing out the dried mealies I was offering her!!
I think I've put it in spoiler tags, but not sure if it'll work. It's really not gross or anything, but I know some people can be a bit funny about things like this and I don't want to upset anyone!

If you get some more pictures of her face and and legs i should be able to give a correct colour ID .,for you but does look brown on these pictures . Enjoy her .x

She just came out for a bite to eat, and I managed to get this picture before she tottled off to bed again!! It's a bit clearer of her face/legs. I'll keep trying though! Thank you!!

If I have said it once I have said it a 100 times - the only colour I get right every time is an albino!

bet you are very proud she is lovely.

She is the exact same colour as Flake and she is registered as a light brown pinto.
This is the hoggie I was going to get but the viv stack wasnt finished.
Glad that she has found a new home x

Ahh thank you for all the compliments!!
She's settled in so well - she's a bit itchy from quilling and it makes her a little bit huffy sometimes but she's not balled up properly once, and she's been really friendly! She's also met far more people than she should have over the first few days (everyone wanted to come visit!) but she's coped so well.
We gave her a go on her wheel too (she doesn't have it in the cage with her yet cos she's too young but we thought we'd see if she took to it at all) and she LOVED it! She got the hang of it so quickly.

Anyway, I thought I'd post another quick picture of her cos I can't help showing her off a little bit!

She is beautiful ... it maybe just the quill , but i would check that the itching isn't down to mites just to be on t he safe side . Hoggies to scratch but if mine are scratching a lot i will check them over x

Bless her, she is lovely and have to agree with Lou - if she is scratching excessively worth checking her over.

I've had a look before, but can't see anything moving. Are there any other signs? Thanks
