"The Mana Pools UNESCO World Heritage site in Zimbabwe is an amazing place to visit, and the photographs one can capture in this unique and beautiful setting are mind-blowing (being able to alight from your vehicle anywhere and walk anywhere helps as well). One such opportunity is to see African Elephant bulls raise themselves up on their hind legs to break off branches to feed from. On this particular morning we found a trio of bulls foraging in a beautiful patch of forest, and we saw the main bull was a "riser". What followed was a blistering 2 hours of running around the forest, staying with them as they moved about and shooting various images. I was very pleased to capture this image."
