Thanks so much to Jenni from Tumbles Hedgehog Rescue for picking up this very poorly Hedgehog from Luton this morning. He wasn't well enough to make the journey back to Tumbles so he's come here for now.

Poor thing is covered in ticks of all sizes, has an eye and respiratory infection and despite weighing 710g is really thin.

So far he's had fluids an antibiotics. We will be tackling the ticks in small batches at a time with a tick hook. Fingers crossed as always please.

This is one lucky little Hedgehog! Weighing only 348g, he came in last night after being found partially buried in mud. Today he weighs 402g, so far so good.
