so i work at a butterfly and wildlife park and this week our American Black Vulture developed an infection that was treated with anti-biotics unfortunatly these didnt agree with him and he started to go down hill rather rapidly as he couldnt hold his food down, so he came home with me for the weekend where i had to tube/crop feed him every 2 hours (a very long night!) , the following 24 hours he was fed a protein and critticle care mix via tube and finally yesterday he started to eat mushed up meat. Hopefully he is well on the road to recovery. my hoggle was quite bemused by him and didnt quite know what to make of it all. just thought id post a picture of my odd house patient.
