Got a new concern today - please, help!!! I I woke up this morning to discover that all food is left untouched, and there's no pee, no poo, anything - as if the cage were empty. Of course I took her out immediately - she's warm, curious and looks quite normal at least on the outside. The weight hasn't dropped during the night. Offered some mealworms by hand - she swallowed them eagerly. Put her back to her cage, next to her food bowl - she started to eat, but then heard a sudden noise and ran away to her nest.
What should I do?!

I personally think that whilst she is this young, it would not do any harm for you to offer a supervised meal time at night - when I was hand rearing tuppence, she was so tiny she would fit and have room to move about in a scrabble box lid, so we fed her in there to make sure she was eating.

Sometimes they can have a day when they do not appear to have eaten - with one this young it is important she eats - maybe her quilling is just upsetting her a little, but for me I would go with the supervised meal time xx

I also think if she is quilling that she maybe come unsettled and maybe a little sore .. kep us updated .x

Thank you for the advice, I guess I'll try to feed her at night for at least a couple of days. My only guess about the possible reason except for quilling is the party my neighbors had last night-it was quite loud. Could it be that she was so afraid of the noise that didn't dare to leave her nest? Now these neighbors have finally calmed down, so I hope she will resume her activities soon.

Very possible - if her home is on the wall between you and your neighbours, she will have felt the vibrations more x

Kukusja is doing fine, the weight today was 178 grams, I hope it's a good figure.
We got our bonding bags and the wheel today, everything is so great, thank you very much, Helen! I've made a new cage setup with the wheel, and here are some pictures. Sorry for the quality, the camera is not the best one.

Kukusja's weight today is 232 grams, guess that's a good figure She's still quilling, but not grumpy anymore and eats well.
