Hi Alison,

As I'm sure everyone will tell you It's pretty vital to add vents to a vivarium as ventilation's a must. Here's a recent thread on just this subject:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I hope this helps.

...My viv arrived this PM so am about to open the box and take a look. Chris and I will be taking Annice to her dIY club at B&Q on Saturday - I'll be buying my vents then.

Good Luck with your research - you're in the right place!
Elaine

Hi everyone,

I am also goin to be a first time hedgehog carer and was pretty sure i was goin to buy the zoozone but now im not to sure. I already have 2 vivs, 1 3ft for my beardy and 1 2ft for my leopard gecko but what concerns me about the viv is weather there is enough airflow with the small vent at the back of the tank? x

Space is very important for hedgehog .. 36" by 18 " and if you just pop out the vents Alison it will be fine ..x

I popped the vents out at the back as well - the VX36 have three vents and the VX48 have five vents.
